Meet Iestyn Harris and Kevin Ellis at new book signing
October 28th, 2009

A new book about the last 20 years of Welsh Rugby League is being published on November 7th and will be launched that day at Scrum n Surf at Bridgend Designer Outlet.

Written by Celtic Crusaders’ press officer Ian Golden, the book is entitled “A Welsh Crusade – Building Rugby League in Wales 1990-2009”.

The author, along with Wales coach Iestyn Harris and assistant coach Kevin Ellis will be signing copies at the Scrum n Surf shop at Bridgend Designer Outlet, The Derwen, Bridgend CF32 9SU from 12-1pm on Saturday 7 November.

The book extensively covers the rugby league’s development in Wales over the last 20 years, from the visit of Wigan and Widnes to Swansea in 1990 which led to the rebirth of the Welsh national team in 1991, right up to a full review of Celtic Crusaders’ first season in Super League.

Also at the launch, fans will be able to buy tickets for rugby league’s European Cup Finals day – three international games for the price of one - which is to be held at the Brewery Field the day after, Sunday 8 November.

There will be special deal for that day only where a book and a terrace ticket for Finals Day can be bought for just £20 for both (normal RRP £13.99 for the book and £12 for the ticket on the day of the game).
